In my last post, I opined that the United States was at risk of losing its share of the global fuel cell market to Germany, South Korea, Japan, and perhaps China. Unfortunately, this is a story that the United States knows all too well. The EU’s transport network needs to be nearly 100% carbon-free by 2050, according to a perspective laid out by a commission on future fuels. The European Union is aiming at an overall reduction of 80-95% by that date.
