dissigno is a product development consulting firm based in San Francisco, CA. dissigno connects developed world technology, NGO’s, developing world communities & end users and private investment to bring basic needs products and services into constrained communities.
dissigno was one of 16 winners from a worldwide field of 400 proposals at the 2008 ‘Lighting Africa Development Marketplace’ awards, held in Accra, Ghana. The dissigno team will begin work to bring LED lighting to nearly 3000 households through the Karagwe District in Tanzania.
Other current projects include; an innovative distributed power enterprise in a rural community in Haiti, a water filtering enterprise in India and a water delivery enterprise in India.
