FPL Energy
Jason is a Business Associate at FPL Energy, a leading wholesale generator of electrical power fueled by clean energy sources. The firm is based in Juno Beach, Florida and operates power generating assets in 25 states and Canada. The company is the North American leader in wind energy and solar power generation. Jason will be taking part in an intense 18 month rotational program through all key business units at FPL Energy, starting in January 2009.
He is a recently graduated Economist from Duke University, where he spearheaded efforts to foster entrepreneurial activity amongst undergraduates, primarily by building an advisory and consultative infrastructure to launch fledgling start up ventures. He has work experience in the hedge fund world, reported to the Chief Risk Officer of UBS Investment Bank in New York and worked at Miami based World Fuel Services as well as with the United States Congress.
Jason enjoys playing tennis and likes fast cars, economic theorizing and right-of-center politics. He is particularly interested in energy industry developments in Latin America.
