Student
The Wharton School
Javier is a first year MBA candidate at Wharton Business School. While at Wharton he aims to focus on alternative investments by majoring in Finance and Real Estate with a heavy emphasis on sustainability and entrepreneurship. He is actively learning about the cleantech industry by taking leadership roles in clubs such as the Energy Club and Net Impact. Most recently, he organized a panel bringing together executives from industry leaders such as Iberdrola Renewables, Horizon Wind, and MMA Renewable Ventures. Prior to his graduate studies, Javier worked in technology and strategy consulting at both Accenture and Diamond Management and Technology Consultants. During these experiences, Javier was able to gain insight into operations across various companies and direct management on how to best apply technology to extract cost savings or increase business flexibility for growth. Leveraging these experiences, his B.S.E in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and concepts learned in his graduate business studies, Javier aspires to move into clean technology principal investing.
