As a consultant, communicator and educator, K.Gardner combines diverse aspects of development: professional, organizational, cultural, cognitive and creative.
For 20 years, Gardner has helped grow and enhance public benefit and business initiatives with fresh content, information, outreach and understanding. Partners have ranged from USAID, the United Nations and private foundations, to independent media, community and youth groups.
Along the way, Gardner has maintained an active interest in alternative energy and environmental issues. One of his early jobs helped market a fledgling solar water heating company in Northern California. More recently, he published a balanced review of CA Prop 7 — The Solar and Clean Energy Act of 2008 — for an intercultural news site.
Gardner holds a BA from Pomona College and MA from Yale Graduate School in International Relations / Area Studies.
