Kristen Parrinello – Business Development Analyst, The Paul Merage School of Business, UC Irvine.

Kristen Parrinello manages a handful of projects for Dean Andrew Policano of the Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine, including a sustainability conference in 2011.

Kristen is a board member of Solar The Sign, a non-profit organization committed to raising awareness about the urgent need for renewable energy, and to providing communities with solar power. Besides raising money to install solar projects on schools in Los Angeles and to bring sustainability awareness to children, this new non-profit is aiming to light the Hollywood sign one night a year, using solar energy, to inspire the people of Los Angeles to be green.

Previous to attending business school at Merage, Kristen worked with the American Himalayan Foundation and was a ship-driving officer in the US Navy. Kristen has a BS from the US Naval Academy.

If you can’t find Kristen in a headstand in Iyengar yoga class, she will probably be at a farmer’s market or traveling to a new country to capture the local culture on her camera.
