Marco is a passionate entrepreneur and an ardent social media strategist & developer who is responsible for putting the techie into CleanTechies. Before co-founding CleanTechies, Marco was building, selling and supporting online community products as well as online marketing projects and web sites for several companies in the US and Europe (including Cisco Systems Inc., I-D Media AG and VCC Perfect Picture AG). He also co-founded Mindwork Technologies, to market, sell and develop BeOS multimedia software, and wrote several books (among them are books about the operating system BeOS and web portal management). Marco has a Computer Science and Marketing background and was born in Hamburg, Germany. When not working, Marco enjoys learning about innovative technologies. He also likes to go skiing and play handball.
