50 Mile Farms
Tom Strong is a co-founder of 50 Mile Farms, a startup venture out of the University of Arizona’s McGuire Entrepreneurship Program. Incorporated in May 2008, 50 Mile Farms applies hydroponic technologies in order to greatly increase the production of locally-grown lettuce and other leafy green vegetables.
Prior to 50 Mile Farms, he worked as a staff trainer and educational program coordinator for Sevananda Natural Foods Market in Atlanta, GA.Tom has an MBA from the University of Arizona, and a BA in Chinese from Reed College.
