About: Walter Wang
Walter is the founder and Managing Director of Sunflower Tax, a tax consulting company based in San Diego, California. He advises on the application of tax credits, grants, incentives, and rebates in all areas of the renewable energy market. This includes tax planning for corporations developing clean technology as well as tax planning for residential homeowners and commercial building owners implementing renewable energy alternatives and energy efficient measures to reduce their energy costs and emissions. Walter also provides tax advice related to power purchase agreements and capital leases of renewable energy property. Walter is currently a member of the AICPA Energy Policy Task Force.
Walter earned his J.D. and LL.M (Tax) from the University of San Diego School of Law and a B.A. from Colby College.
