Gary is the Principal and Founder of dissigno, a product development consulting firm based in San Francisco. dissigno links technology with developing world customers and end users to solve basic need constraints.

dissigno was one of 16 winners from a worldwide field of 400 proposals at the 2008 ‘Lighting Africa Development Marketplace’ awards, held in Accra, Ghana. The dissigno team will begin work to bring LED lighting to nearly 3000 households through the Karagwe District in Tanzania.

Gary is also a Project Manager/Consultant at Project Perspective, a consulting firm for the construction of PV power plants. Previously, Gary has worked in Project Management and Consulting for Shell Oil.

Gary holds a BA in Marketing from New York University.

His outside interests include rock climbing, mountaineering and mountain biking.
