Emory University is a private research university located in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. It is one of the top 20 universities in the United States, as ranked by U.S. News and World Report, and Newsweek named it one of the 25 “New Ivies” in the year 2006. A new portable solar light option was exhibited at the last Salone del Mobile in Milan, which took place between 17 and 22 April. Called NOMAD solar lamp, it was developed by Belgium company O-Sun and will start selling in September for €95 (US$125).
