The city of London, which has set a goal of becoming the “electric car capital” of Europe, has launched a new network of 150 charging stations, increasing the total number of stations citywide to more than 400.
Paris, which has already a four-year-old bicycle-sharing program, Vêlib, will soon be home to approximately 3,000-shared electric cars. While electric vehicles are only being delivered by the hundreds today, plans for clusters of fast DC charging stations around major cities and along highways are fully underway.
