A new study finds that animal and plant species are responding to the effects of climate change at a rate two to three times faster than previously believed.

In 2008, the European Union (EU) created its very ambitious 20-20-20 plan. It called for an increase in renewable energy use throughout the EU by 20 percent by the year 2020.
