DOE Offers Deep Discount on Patent Licenses to Speed Tech Transfer

EPA Seeks New Standards for Home Efficiency Retrofits

In seeking to establish new standards for home improvements that would increase energy efficiency, the EPA is asking for comments from the public. They have released a draft protocol which contains a series of best practice tools that would protect indoor air quality during a home energy retrofit. Less Power To Refrigerators! Appliances Get More Efficient in 2014

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) this week announced new efficiency standards for most new refrigerators as of 2014. Energy efficiency for these domestic appliances is set to increase by 25%. They account for about 10% of household electricity use.

Cleantech Stimulus Still Not Stimulating
