A next-generation cadmium telluride, thin-film photovoltaic solar module plant will be built in the State of Indiana, it was announced earlier this week. Abound Solar, which specializes in solar modules that reduce the cost of solar power generation, has leased a 781,750 square foot facility in Tipton where it will be establishing the plant. Bear Creek Secondary School (Bear Creek) in Barrie, Ontario, is set to expand its rooftop solar installation. The school held a fundraising dinner last month to raise money for its Apollo Project, an initiative designed to earn revenue and educate students about renewable energy.
